"Macca's" name change in Australia Posted: 25 Jan 2013 12:22 AM PST Like anyone calls it McDonald's there anyway Article Page McDonald's has changed the name of some of its restaurants to "Macca's," the nickname used by many Australians for the fast-food chain. The marketing ploy coincides with the lead up to the national Australia Day holiday on January 26. According to local media, signage was changed on 13 outlets countrywide earlier this month and will remain in place until February 4. Locals wonder what being "discovered" will mean for them Article Page You've likely never heard of the island of Chiloé, in southern Chile, but Charles Darwin knew alll about it. The island's diverse ecosystem inspired the famed scientist to explore the area. Much of what Darwin saw in 1834 you can still find today. Bright green forests populate the entire western side of the island, a close-knit penguin colony makes its home on the north. Marine fauna includes blue whales, dolphins, sea lions and sea otters. Here's where to see them At least four cities in Asia are to be hit by pictures of canned soup, a hamburger and a colorful representation of Chairman Mao, apparently wearing lipstick, over the next two years. The artworks are traveling as part of the Andy Warhol: 15 Minutes Eternal exhibition, the biggest retrospective of Warhol's work ever to be shown in Asia. Warhol, who died in 1987, is famous for declaring: "In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes."
